With access to the newest technology, Dr. Suzanne Sutter practices full-scope
optometry and enjoys providing individualized care for patients of all ages. She is a
member of the CAO, BCDO, and is certified to prescribe medications. Focusing on early disease prevention along with understanding the connections between ocular and systemic health are important to Suzanne. This allows her to provide various treatment plans and options to her patients which often result in better vision and healthier eyes.
Suzanne was born and raised in Saskatoon and completed a degree in microbiology at the University of Saskatchewan. In 2005, she graduated from the College of Optometry at the University of Waterloo and made her way out to Victoria to start her career.
In 2008, Suzanne participated in a volunteer trip to Central America where she provided hundreds of eye exams to those in need. She has also travelled to Northern BC to provide remote areas with improved access to eye care.
Suzanne, her husband and their school-aged daughter make the most of life on the
island spending time outdoors, exploring beaches and trails and taking time to enjoy the many unique offerings that make up this beautiful island. Suzanne also enjoys discovering new running routes and being creative in the kitchen.
