Cutler and Gross: Irrefutably Cool Eyewear

Cutler and Gross, the British luxury eyewear company most famous for the Kingsman frame (yes, the one in the movie), has been in the eyewear business since 1969. Graham Cutler and Tony Gross, both opticians, established their namesake brand with the help of frame maker George Smith, who made each frame by hand.

They launched there first ready to wear collection at Paris Fashion Week in 1982. Soon after, the eyewear could be seen on famous faces such as Princess Anne and Princess Diana.

For decades, Cutler and Gross glasses have continued to be seen on some of the most recognizable faces in music, film, and art.

Today, Cutler and Gross frames can be seen on many fellow independent thinkers and cutting edge visionaries, such as Honey Dijon, Linda Rodin, and Brian A. Richards.

Cutler and Gross is an independent brand; they have the courage not to follow the crowd. They introduced bold eyewear meant to be a fashion accessory and not just a medical aid. These frames combine “the finest of Italian craftsmanship with irrefutably cool style”.

All Cutler And Gross glasses are hand-crafted in Cadore, Italy. They use only the highest quality Italian acetate, rivets, and lenses.

Each frame requires 42 tailored steps to produce. The entire process is completed by hand and can take up to six weeks to complete.
