November is going to be a fun month! Join us for our Lafont Trunk Show on November 21st and shop beautiful eyewear while enjoying some sweet treats! Lindsey from Maui Jim will be her November 6th if it’s sunglasses you’re looking for. We have a few new eyewear lines, including Rapp, which is handmade in Toronto, and Very French Gangster, which is especially great for kids and more petite sizes. Mark your calendars for the Lafont Paris Trunk Show! We will have the entire Lafont collection for you to shop while enjoying some Parisienne-inspired snacks (Bon Macaron anyone?) and drinks. This is a wonderful opportunity to explore all the styles, sizes, and colours offered by Lafont Paris. Our eyewear specialists will be on hand to help you select the perfect pair of glasses.

These bespoke eyeglasses are designed and manufactured entirely in Toronto, Canada. Each limited addition collection is created using the highest quality acetate and brushed titanium.

CONTACT LENS RECYCLING PROGRAM
We’re now offer a contact lens recycling program through Bausch & Lomb. Collect your discarded contact lenses and blister packs and return them to Oak Bay Optometry to be recycled. All the cardboard packaging can be recycled through your regular municipal recycling program.

NEW KIDS EYEWEAR
We’re now carrying the fun and creative kids eyewear line, Very French Gangster. These frames are handcrafted in France with high quality components such as: “repairable German-quality flexible hinges which will withstand the most daring children; the adjustable arms in silicone bisphenol-free and phthalate-free for the “arm chewers”; the Italian Mazzucchelli acetate plates.”
Very French Gangster, while designed for younger gangsters, are also perfect for older gangsters with a more petite face shape.
