Happy Holidays! We have some exciting announcements as we finish off 2019. For starters, we’re happy to now be offering a contact lens recycling program. It’s as easy as bringing in your contacts, blister packs, and foils into Oak Bay Optometry and dropping them in the specific recycling bin. As well, our Dry Eye Program is underway. Check out the information below or on our website to learn more. You could win tickets to see your favorite holiday movie by entering our Instagram contest. And finally, we will be taking a few days off over the holidays to be with friends and family. We can’t wait to see you again in 2020!

What’s New: November 2019

November is going to be a fun month! Join us for our Lafont Trunk Show on November 21st and shop beautiful eyewear while enjoying some sweet treats! Lindsey from Maui Jim will be her November 6th if it’s sunglasses you’re looking for. We have a few new eyewear lines, including Rapp, which is handmade in Toronto, and Very French Gangster, which is especially great for kids and more petite sizes. What’s New at OBO: July 2019

July is a month full of summer fun! Starting with the Victoria Pride Parade, which we will be participating in. Come out and show your Pride! Lindsey will be back for our Maui Jim trunk show, sunglasses are an essential all year round so make sure you have the best. Speaking of sunglasses, we now have Charlie Sun sunglasses for kids from ages 1-9+. Don’t forget Cherish tickets are still available, get them before they sell out (learn more below). And finally, we are preparing for our Etnia Barcelona trunk show at the end of August. This is the best time to shop the entire collection and enjoy an ice cream cone to celebrate Oak Bay Optometry’s 26th Anniversary!

Wow it’s already June! By the end of the month, school will be all finished up and we’ll be in full summer mode. We have a lot going on this month! Start by coming by the Maui Jim Trunk Show to help prepare your eyes for the longest day of the year. Then, hope on your bike and join us for Ride Don’t Hide, Canada’s largest bike ride in support of mental health. What’s new at OBO: May 2019

Hurray May! Rain or shine, we have some fun events coming up including a Barton Perreira Trunk Show and training for the Ride Don’t Hide fundraising bike ride in June. In addition, Oak Bay Optometry will have a team racing in the Oak Bay Half Marathon Relay (yes, we are apparently an office of full of athletes).  We have new Axon Optics lens technology available for those who experience sensitivity to light and migraine, also beautiful new frames from WOOW, Kilsgaard, and Lamarca.
