Please check below regarding our office hours, we do have a few temporary changes to our hours starting February 16th. Be sure to follow us on Instagram (@oakbayoptometry) and Facebook to stay in the know.

KORE BRAND TRUNK SHOW

Thursday, March 12th

12 PM – 6 PM

What are the Kore Brands we will be featuring?

Cutler and Gross, the British luxury eyewear company most famous for the Kingsman frame (yes, the one in the movie), has been in the eyewear business since 1969. For decades, Cutler and Gross have been seen on some of the most recognizable faces in music, film, and art. These frames combine “the finest of Italian craftsmanship with irrefutably cool style”.

Inspired by and designed in Southern California, RAEN offers carefully crafted eyewear at an accessible price point. RAEN is an independent company using premium materials to create fashion-forward optical frames and sunglasses. Whether you’re looking for something classic or more funky, you are destined to the perfect frame from their extensive selection.

Native Sons eyewear is handcrafted in Japan. This original eyewear is designed with a rebellious spirit using only the highest quality acetate and metals.

A new addition, can only be seen at Oak Bay Optometry during the Trunk Show, is Yuichi Toyama. This eyewear line is pure design and structure, simple yet unique. Yuichi Toyama is made in Japan using Japanese craftsmanship and innovative design.

*NEW* JOHANN VON GOISERN EYEWEAR

We are so excited to be adding another independent eyewear brand to our selection at Oak Bay Optometry. Johann Von Goisern frames are handmade in Austria using natural cellulose-acetate. They are a great option for those with more petite facial features, as they have smaller styles. In addition, they have a selection of children’s frames and larger fits.

What really makes Johann Von Goisern (or JVG as we like to call it) stand out is the vibrant color and texture combinations. JVG uses and in-house lamination technique, exclusive to them, to combine up to 20 colours in a single frame. If you have been looking for something bright and beautiful, this is the eyewear for you!

Come into Oak Bay Optometry to try these beautiful frames on for yourself!
